The MI and Operations Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring that agreed claims reporting standards are maintained
  • Ensuring the delivery of claim reports/analysis for a portfolio of clients and the overall business
  • Understanding the risk management and insurance objectives of the client, providing and interpreting claim statistics/data to aid these objectives
  • Notifying the claims team of any trends in claims activity that has been identified through the analysis of data
  • Capturing and developing internal MI based on internal claims statistics
  • Working with Tableau software designing user friendly reports for various areas of the business for renewals and new business tenders
  • Working with Microsoft SQL to run queries and reports to provide valuable MI

Applicants for this role must have MI analysis experience and a good understanding of SQL, ideally with the ability to write basic code or queries. Strong Excel skills are desirable and experience analysing data to the size of 200,000 rows in Excel. Insurance industry experience would be a bonus but not essential.
