An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a highly reputable brokerage in the Leeds area.
Our client are a well-established and highly reputable insurance Broker with a number of offices across the UK. Through organic growth the firm aim to keeping growing and require two new Account Handlers to join their team on the outskirts of Leeds.
The role and responsibilities
The role will involve working within the firms account handling team, looking after a £200,000 portfolio of clients working with a range of different Account Executives. Taking on responsibility for the renewal and midterm adjustments for your clients, you will act as both the handler and ‘Broker’ on these cases, which included Insurer and client-side discussions and negotiations. Clients will be from a variety of sectors, typically paying from £10,000 to £100,000 premium income.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role you must have proven experience of working within a commercial/corporate account handling role. You must have good knowledge of commercial/corporate insurance products and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with Insurers. Given the location of the Broker, you will also need to have access to your own car – free parking is provided.
